This belt is woven from recycled PET plastic.
We extract bottles from the seabed and crush them again to get plastic particles that are reheated to create plastic threads that are woven and become this ribbon. The process of recycling this material is more expensive than using virgin plastic particles, so many brands avoid using these materials to save money on production.
